Putting a Face
To The Name
The Lazy Graze is rooted in a love of food and bringing people together. It's our singular goal to make every gathering feel extra special through delicious (and photo-worthy) graze tables!

Hi, I’m Barbara!
And I'm the creator and heart behind The Lazy Graze.
I've loved food since I was a little kid; So much so, that I took a full vocational culinary course in highschool and dreamed about becoming a chef. Even though life took me in a different direction — 25 years in brand and marketing — that passion never left me. Eventually, I decided it was time to do the work I really loved: creating beautiful food experiences that make people smile, linger, and connect.
Now, I create boards that do more than serve food — they help shape the experience. Spreads that bring people together, spark conversation, and maybe even inspire a few photos before anyone takes a bite. I focus on the moments where food really matters: celebrations, milestones, or simple “just because” gatherings that deserve something special.
I want every graze to make hosting feel easier and more enjoyable, and every guest to feel full and satisfied. Because when the food is done right, everyone's experience is better!
My Team
One of the most special parts of this business is that I get to do it alongside my daughter. She helps me bring our graze tables and workshops to life — not as just a helper, but as a true creative partner. Watching her learn the craft and see firsthand how a small business operates has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. Her energy, care, and attention to detail show up in every spread we produce.

What Makes Us Different?
At The Lazy Graze, we build more than just cheese and charcuterie spreads — we build moments. While some cheese and charcuterie caterers simply assemble storebought meats and cheeses, we go a step further with house‑made dips, spreads, and savory bites, like our goat cheese truffles, wildly popular goat cheese and artichoke dip, scratchmade hummus in multiple flavors, and our secret family wine jelly recipe that guests always ask about. All grazes also include fresh artisan breads, crackers, seasonal fruit, pickled items, nuts, honey, and more — styled to feel abundant, inviting, and thoughtfully curated.
We also focus heavily on sourcing the most eco-friendly plates, cups, napkins, and boards we can find. Many of the items we use are made using sustainable, renewed-plant based or previously recycled materials. While these types of materials are much more expensive to source (sometimes to the tune of 400%!), we do NOT pass these costs on to you. This world is full of waste, so we're doing our tiny part to help reduce plastics and keep our earth healthy.
